pop art photoshop










This photo of myself has always been one of my favorites and my family's favorite. I was very excited to use it. First I changed the photo from the original color to black and white by using the greyscale feature in photoshop. Then I got to work picking my colors that I wanted to use on adobe. This is always my favorite part. I love picking the colors because that is when the vision really comes to life in my head. Then I started to outline the large pieces like my hair sunglasses and scarf. I wanted to go for a pop art look so I played around with using the brush tool to outline the colors. I never really used opacity on photoshop before, so I also played around with that. 

these are my black and white to color photos. This picture is of me as a baby and I have always loved it. I went for a pop art style and I really love how they turned out. I had a lot of fun playing with this much color, I love how sassy this photo is to begin with, and I feel like the colors give it even more character. 

I wish I still had those fun sunglasses, I was really excited to play with them in photoshop and I think they are my favorite part of both of my pieces. I also really like how the scarf turned out on both of them. I think I like the Analogous one the best because I love how the colors play together.  I really like how these turned out.

    These pictures are so cute. I absolutely love the outlines of the colors, I think it adds a nice personal stylistic touch.

  This is my final portfolio. I really like using indesign so I really enjoyed putting this together. Like I have said in other blog posts I like indesign so much because of how organized it is. Indesign just makes sense in my head. I really like how this project came out, I thought it was cool to see my progression through out the year. I also really like how the theme is cohesive throughout the whole project. For my color scheme I took colors from adobe.color.com they had so many to pick from. I went with a muted color pallet so my work could really shine through. I also really like the font I picked I think it is fun and pretty easy to read.

in design tutorials

 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXRT3dHu6_o  in design for beginners  I have barely used indesign before so this was very helpful. This layout of this video is very nice and even though it was a lot of information I feel like it was easy to retain.  I have never really used indesign before so because of this I tried to follow along with the tutorial and try out all of the functions that were being shown I think this helped.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wg2FzMO-NrY  in design for the iPad pro  Like I have mentioned before, I really love to use my iPad pro for this class and other classes. Im not sure if it will be that useful for this section on indesign. I think it will be a lot better to stay on the computer for the next projects and this tutorial showed me that.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyR_uYsRdPs  photoshop for beginners this video was really helpful to get the basics down.  I liked how it was laid out and how he showed you how to do things. I have used photoshop a little bit before, but this video was still really helpful.
