black and white logo

 

This is my black and white logo I love this logo. I think it really depicts me well. When creating this logo I wanted to show off my hair which is something that I love a lot about myself. I think the way I depicted it is simple enough, but it is still detailed. I wanted this logo to be able be blown up and brought down into a smaller size and I feel like I accomplished that. This is one of my favorite pieces that I have done. 

I have had this logo for a while, but I added a few things to it for this assignment. I played around with the thickness and densities of the lines. I also added the little mole, this made it even more personal because I have that mole on my face. I thought about adding a mask to this piece just given the current climate, but I honestly am so over seeing covid art. Im not sure if that is bad or not, but I just want this pandemic to be over. So I did not end up adding that. Im glad I didn't. I am very excited to finally add color to this piece. I have been meaning to for a while, but never got around to it. I am hoping to stay in the monochromatic theme like I usually tend to do. I also have been thinking about dying my hair pink so maybe that will play into my design.

  This is my final portfolio. I really like using indesign so I really enjoyed putting this together. Like I have said in other blog posts I like indesign so much because of how organized it is. Indesign just makes sense in my head. I really like how this project came out, I thought it was cool to see my progression through out the year. I also really like how the theme is cohesive throughout the whole project. For my color scheme I took colors from adobe.color.com they had so many to pick from. I went with a muted color pallet so my work could really shine through. I also really like the font I picked I think it is fun and pretty easy to read.

in design tutorials

 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXRT3dHu6_o  in design for beginners  I have barely used indesign before so this was very helpful. This layout of this video is very nice and even though it was a lot of information I feel like it was easy to retain.  I have never really used indesign before so because of this I tried to follow along with the tutorial and try out all of the functions that were being shown I think this helped.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wg2FzMO-NrY  in design for the iPad pro  Like I have mentioned before, I really love to use my iPad pro for this class and other classes. Im not sure if it will be that useful for this section on indesign. I think it will be a lot better to stay on the computer for the next projects and this tutorial showed me that. photoshop tutorials

 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyR_uYsRdPs  photoshop for beginners this video was really helpful to get the basics down.  I liked how it was laid out and how he showed you how to do things. I have used photoshop a little bit before, but this video was still really helpful.
